Gold Autos Tri-Y Header vs. JDM Manifold & Performance Chip vs. Dyno Tune

We had a chance to dyno a JDM GSR swapped Civic before and after a Tri-Y header install.  The customer's setup was as follows:

JDM B18C GSR Swap
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Cold Air Intake
2.5" Catback Exhaust

Blue Line = JDM GSR Stock Exhaust Manifold/Header (2.5" Collector)
Red Line = Gold Autos Tri-Y Header

Both Runs were made using one of our Mugen style ecu chips. Nothing was changed besides the exhaust manifold.  Their is over an 8whp gain in places just by bolting on the Tri-Y Header.

The next dyno shows the power after being tuned on the dyno at Gold-Autos.

Red Line = Mugen style Performance Chip
Blue Line = Tune w/Neptune on Gold Autos DynoJet

We picked up almost 10 lb ft of torque at the wheels in the mid-range in addition to picking up power all across the board. The tune transforms the car. Power is stronger, smoother and comes in way earlier. In addition gas mileage is up and reliability is increased.

This is a great example of what tuning can do for an already quick, daily-driven all-motor car. You may think your car runs great but you always have room for improvement in performance and reliability with a tune.
